Inventing the Hay Hutch Plastic Hay Feeder for Horses

Back in the early 2000s, co-founder of Hay Hutch, Gilly Metherell, was looking after her broodmares, foals and riding horses at the farm in Wiltshire, which she shares with me, Richard Guy, her husband and partner in crime. Between us, we created the solution to a problem that had frustrated the equine community for years - how to feed hay to horses at pasture with minimal wastage. Here is the story of how Hay Hutch plastic feeder for horses was born.
